Lots of Ass at the Urban X Awards

The Urban X Awards were recently held here in Los Angeles. These days there’s so many porn award shows that we can’t keep track. We had to look up exactly what the Urban X Awards are. We found that they are awards to “honor achievement in ethnic pornography.” More over the awards ” recognize achievement by the porn stars, producers, directors, agencies and companies who produce Black, Latin, Asian and interracial adult content.”
Boil it down, and these awards celebrate the ass. And lots of ass was sure to be found this evening.

We have to admit, this trailer looks awesome. Revolution X / Digital Sin have outdone themselves. However, we wonder, in what looks an actual episode of the television series, where does the sex fit in? It is a porno after all.

Music Monday: Talking with Tobacco

A few years ago, a mysterious group called Black Moth Super Rainbow came down the hills. Together, they played an off kilter brand of fuzz drenched, claustrophobic pop. They became critically acclaimed and soon found themselves opening for the likes of The Flaming Lips and rapper Aesop Rock. In 2008 the front man of the group Tobacco, released his first solo effort Fucked Up Friends. The release found him more fuzzed out, more claustrophobic, and well more fucked up. Along side his solo records, he released two DVD volumes of his equally unnerving music videos, Fucked Up Friend 1 & 2. These DVDs feature some of the oddest footage culled from fetish videos, infomercials, and the vast VHS wasteland. He just released his second solo effort Maniac Meat. We were lucky enough to get Tobacco on the phone to learn about strip mall video stores, disappearing into the abyss, and buckets of porn.

The Booth Babes of E3 2010

Zombies, vampires, and more guns than you can shake a stick at; it’s E3, the annual Mecca for video game enthusiasts. A convention for gamers wouldn’t be complete without the “booth babe”. For years, E3 was just as much about the babes as the video games. The convention got a bad rap because of this, so recently the hired eye candy isn’t showing as much skin. But, we couldn’t help but take some photos of our favorite booth babes this year.
