You've said that an ex-boyfriend was the person who got you into the "extreme sex" that you've quickly become known for. Were you initially hesitant to take part in that stuff like choking, sub/dom, and anal? No, I had been interested in SM for a while, but not being very sexually experienced I wasnt aware of how to approach it. When we first started playing, we just took it slow, and he would take what he dished out to me. Ass far as the butt sex, I came into the relationship with my ass wide open. How about you? You came into porn because you said you wanted to push out the boundaries of the industry and wanted to see more sexual creativity in films. With this, how do you justify the more "standard" porn scenes that you've been in? A business is a business, and you always have to compromise in what you do. I dont always get to do the scenes I wish to do; it takes time and a certain point in ones career to have complete control. 'If any of my competitors were drowning, I'd stick a hose in their mouth and turn on the water. It is ridiculous to call this an industry. This is not. This is rat eat rat, dog eat dog. I'll kill 'em, and I'm going to kill 'em before they kill me. You're talking about the American way - of survival of the fittest.' ( note: this is a Ray Kroc quote that Sasha says. Kroc was the one who built the McDonald's corporation)
How much longer do you plan on being a performer? Do you want to build a life-long career like Jenna Jameson (of which people have compared you to)? If you do plan on leaving the industry what would be the next chapter for Sasha Grey? I plan for my career to be fruitful, but I cant put a number of months or years on how long my performing career will be. My next step is to start directing, and really getting my creative stamp on the projects I perform in. Speaking of Jenna Jameson, I have a life-size costume that I plan on never taking off-it will be like the Jeana Jameson 2.0-yeah thats what Ill call myself, Jenna 2.0...
What's the best thing you did in the past year? I made salsa with a day laborer, can you say authentic?
Favorite purchase of the past year? A brand new ColecoVision...its still in the box.
Favorite sex act to do in your own time? I like to shit, piss, and get fucked in the ass with my Elmo outfit on.
What kind of scenes would you like to do in the future that you haven't already done? Maybe a scene with 'special people'.
