The History of the Hedgehog

Porn's most stalwart performer looks back at THREE DECADES in the biz

A review by K.K. Le Roque

Ron Jeremy has fucked every single woman we have ever fantasized about—and thousands more. Somehow, this hirsute, rotund wretch has been able to flourish and survive in the world of adult entertainment to become one of its biggest stars.

But how did the wannabe mainstream actor and failed Catskills comedian Ron Hyatt (Jeremy is his middle name), a nice Jewish boy from Bayside, Queens, become the recognizable figure he is today? In his new autobiography, The Hardest (Working) Man In Showbiz, Jeremy chronicles his own climb to the top of the ladder as the clown prince of porn. Here are some notable excerpts:

Nina Hartley's Guide to Total Sex

Nina Hartley's Guide to Total Sex arrives in bookstores all over America on October 19. We haven't been able to get our grubby little hands on an advance copy, but those who have been able to acquire the tome have absolutely nothing but raves:

"Truly amazing...I honestly think it is the best book written about sex, ever." — Margaret Cho

"Nina Hartley is a fucking genius! " — Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, author of XXX: 30 Porn Star Portraits

In addition to general wisdom gained from her two decades as a sex performer, this comprehensive volume contains a few chapters that should interest fans of Hustler's TABOO: domination, submission, spanking and bondage.

You won't be able to pick up a copy for a few more weeks, but you can pre-order this little gem from Amazon now.

Joanna Angel Breaks into the Pages of HUSTLER Magazine

Uh...

Uh...

We don't know what to say about the following release. We don't know where the writer got his/her facts, but Joanna is most definitely not "the first heavily tattooed adult starlet" to grace the pages of HUSTLER. As you fine readers know, our #1 crush, Angie Savage, has her back done. We'd probably be a little less hesitant to point this out if this release heralded Joanna as the first "alt-porn" starlet.

But that's neither here nor there. We like Joanna. No matter what your body-art predilecation is, you should pick up the November issue regardless. She probably talks about indie-rock or something.

Now America's hottest canine is starring in his first movie, Family Guy Presents Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story.
