This is perhaps one of the biggest copyright infringement lawsuits that the adult entertainment industry has seen to date. Like all legal matters these days, they'll probably settle out of court.
But $25 million dollars?

We don't know Movixo.com's side of the case, so we cannot realistically comment on their guilt or innocence. Instead, we'll just offer the release we received from Zero Tolerance.
Zero Tolerance Entertainment, one of the world's leading manufacturers of high-quality adult films, announced that they have filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against Florida based on-line retailer Movixo.com, for copyright and trademark infringement.
"This is a first in a series of lawsuits," vowed Zero Tolerance President, Greg Alves. "We have worked diligently to build a brand that is synonymous with quality adult entertainment and we will work equally as hard to protect that brand."
Legal counsel for Zero Tolerance, Clyde Dewitt offered details on the filing, "The complaint filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida in Fort Lauderdale, alleges, 'when a customer rents a motion picture from Movixo.com the customer does not receive the DVD motion picture as issued by the original manufacturer but, rather, a copy which is of lower quality, yet maintaining the original copyrighted content.'"
The complaint contends infringement of 172 titles, all copyrighted by Zero Tolerance Entertainment, as well as, Third Degree Films and Black Ice Limited. With willful copyright infringement carrying a penalty of $150,000 per title, the lawsuit promises to be precedent-setting to the adult video business.
"We will utilize every resource available to pursue and prosecute anyone who violates our rights," promised Alves. "I am as committed to this as I am to producing the finest adult product."
