We worry. We can't help it. Blame our mother.
We always get anxious on Hustler Live days. There's a multitude of "what ifs" that constantly run through our mind before every show. What if one of the performers gets sick and has to cancel at the last minute? What if the power goes out in the studio? What if our girlfriend shows up and finds out what we really do for a living?
The list of hazards that could potentially derail our girl-girl love train is only limited by our imagination.
Fortunately, no such catastrophe occured last night. We blacked out from being around too-much-pretty only once. Other than the expected slightly late arrivals of Crissy and Angie, yesterday's show was, in the parlance of our times, "The bomb, dawg" and ran quite smoothly. (Editor's Note:American Idol? Really? That's just sad.)
If you've been following our coverage of the event up to this point, you'd know that these two ladies are what some so eloquently refer to as "hot as fuck". Seeing them in person, the similie doesn't hold up. They're actually hotter than fuck. One could easily argue that these two girls hold some responsibility for the melting of the polar ice caps. Honestly though, would Long Island really be missed by anyone? We'll take pretty girls over the Hamptons any day of the week. Except maybe Tuesdays.
There was a noticable tinge of excitement in the air over at VS Media when the girls were getting ready to perform. Although the staff at VS is often in the presence of adult talent, we have a feeling that they were particulary impressed by these two. Even their token gay employee commented on how gorgeous they looked.
Whenever two (or more) women are paired together in the context of making adult entertainment, we always wonder if they'll be a good match. If Tom Cruise can barely make his heterosexuality believable, how can we expect two adult performers to convey chemistry when they just met? Luckily, Angie and Crissy didn't have to fake anything.
"I like to dominate when I'm with women," Angie told us.
"That's good, because I like to be the submissive one," was Crissy's perfect response.

"All of these bands have thousands of friends on Myspace, and we're using that as a marketing tool to get the word out and bring the music audience and porn audience together."
For his first endeavor for VCA Pictures, the director of the movie, Ron Royster, initiated the musical search, recognizing the power and vastly untapped artistic talent housed in the MySpace community. Pulling from the massive selection, the 28 undiscovered musical talents were called on to participate.
The featured artists include Punk Bunny, Vagabond, Chocolate Eargasms, Dancin' Shoes, Sixgun, Dead Sexy, The Shifters and G-Spot Tornado. "I am more proud of Atomic Vixens and its soundtrack than anything else in my adult career," gushed Royster about this film. "Today we are filming fucking lesbians and that's actually the title of the movie," Axel Braun, the director, informed us with a laugh. "We wanted to call it 'Fucking Dykes', but they wouldn't go for that. So we we called it 'Fucking Lesbians'"
"And 'Lipstick Lesbians' would have taken up too much room on the box," quipped his PA/lighting designer, Divad.
After last week's visit to the Hippie Land Ranch, we were unsure of what to expect when we set out to poke our nose around this particular Hustler Video production. Would we be met with a 12,000 square foot home? Swinging hipsters? Nekkid girls going at it in every possible position while saying dirty, dirty things to each other?
The answers are no, no and—thank Jeebus!—yes.
We arrived on set during the swing-shift. This changing-of-the-guard happens on almost every porn production. The incoming talent arrives shortly before the performers from the day's first scene are finished filming. We'd like to say it has something to do with creating an atmosphere of friendship and family within the adult entertainment community, but it has more to do with getting make-up and wardrobe taken care of so the shoot remains as close to on-time as possible. It's very similar to what happens in your average Starbucks when the morning "partners" are relieved by the afternoon "partners". Instead of black-shirted, green-aproned college students, you get naked, 4-inch-clear-heel-wearing hyper-sexy women. The only real difference is that their barista skills are sometimes lacking.
Looking exhausted from filming their scene ("They each came for real twice. It was intense," Axel later told us.), we thought it best to let the early performers go home and get some rest.
Lucky for us, the two ladies tagging-in for the afternoon were Angel Cassidy and Lexxi Tyler. Their opposite features—Lexxi's sporty physique and brunette locks and Angel's womanly curves and blonde tresses—made for an interesting pairing, to say the least.
Almost as interesting as this study of opposing hair colors and body types was Axel's questioning of Angel while shooting behind-the-scenes footage. Opening with, "Would you fuck an alien?" we could tell Angel had never been subject to a similar interrogation.
"Before this, the strangest question I had been asked is if I ever let anyone shit on my chest," she told us.
Prior to responding to the alien question (which variety—extraterrestrial or illegal—we never learned) Angel's phone rang. "I have to take this," she apologized. "I lost my dog and this might be someone who found him." As it turned out, the call wasn't about her lost canine, but brought good news nonetheless. Her little sister was pregnant again. "She puts out," she laughed.
Before beginning to shoot the scene, Axel made a series of small adjustments to the positioning of Angel's leg. "You see?" he asked with tongue planted firmly in cheek. "There is still some art left in pornography."
"You gotta get the girls to really go at it without really getting too much of in the middle of it," he explained. "You just want to create the energy and just let them go and just follow them through the motions."
Giving only the occasional direction during filming—"I need you to suck on her tongue"—Axel deftly demonstrated what he was talking about.
We will say, however, that a big reason why we found the scene so satisfying was Lexxi's insane flexibility. If it wasn't for this girl's ability to contort and balance herself in almost any position imaginable, we probably would have been bored. As we can barely touch our toes, being in the presence of someone who can literally touch the back of their head with their lower digits is like watching a home-schooled kid spell. It's a talent we completely admire and are awed by, but don't have the enery to pursue. Regardless, we wouldn't want to play a game of Twister with Miss Tyler.
Actually, we probably would.
After finishing the scene, the girls exchanged the usual talent pleasantries. "I was dumping loads of spit on your asshole" Lexxi matter-of-factly said to Angel soon after getting dressed.
"I noticed" Angel sing-songed in response, probably thinking about her lost dog and the new niece or nephew that's on the way.

"Joanna's Angeles 2" and "Atomic Vixens" to be sold in Tower stores nationwide
When a dirty little birdie told us that Tower Music and Video was going to start carrying recently released "Joanna's Angels 2" and "Atomic Vixens", we weren't surpised. With sountracks featuring bands from MySpace, Har Mar Superstar and Rancid, the titles perfectly bridge the gap between mainstream and adult entertainment.
Just to be on the safe side (we've already been led astray once this week), we gave the president of VCA a call. "It's gratifying that VCA is expanding its universe," Peter Reynolds told us, confirming the news, "A music chain like Tower is validation that we're doing some entertaining movies. It's another example of [how we're] making cool films with good music."
According to Mr. Reynolds, the titles should be available in all Tower stores by the end of next week.
If you can't wait until next week to get your hands on the movies everyone's talking about, both "Joanna's Angels 2" and "Atomic Vixens" are available from Hustler Hollywood.
Yesterday's visit to the set of "Boning Bonita Chicas" proved once again that we never, never, never know what to expect when it comes to the wonderful world of pornography. In our travels, we've grown accustomed to long drives up winding roads, multi-million dollar McMansions with stunning views and ponds stocked with fish worth more than our car.
That's why our arrival at yesterday's location was the cause for bemusement. We should have known this was going to be different when we noticed an Earth-friendly bumper sticker proudly displayed on the bumper of the VW Bus parked outside the house. It could just have easily said, "Tresspassers beware, here there be hippies". Located only miles away from HustlerWorld HQ, the outside of the home looked as if Cheech and Chong (Editor's note: Yeah, yeah we get it. Today's "Pot Day".) were going to make an appearance any moment.
Inside, we were greeted by what could be described as "Pee Wee's Playhouse" meets "HR Puff 'N' Stuff". We thought we might have wandered into the wrong place until we saw a pair of 6-inch clear stilettos sitting near the front door. Hippies wear Birkenstocks, not porn shoes.
Shortly after our encounter of the Lucite-kind, we ran into the project's director, Rod Fontana. "The story for this particular scene is that this is a border-town whorehouse," he informed us. "[Dirty] Harry is the stepfather of young Sergio. After [Sergio's] father died, he took him under his wing and he's trying to help him. He finds out that the boy's a virgin. He ain't never been laid. Harry goes, 'Well we're gonna have to fix that.'"
On hand to help Sergio fix his virginity problem was rookie Mercedes Santos. This tattooed, non-Spanish speaking Puerto Rican from Binghampton, NY (!?) just got into the skin business 2 weeks ago. "I don't want to be just another porn girl. I want to work for big companies," she told us. "I'm excited to work for Hustler."

Bad intel yesterday caused us to make a 45 minute trip to the set of Shy Love's "Mass Destruction" only to be met by a confused homeowner asking if we were T.T. Boy. While we don't know whether to take this as an insult or a compliment, we do know that our drive back to the office was expletive- and cigarette-filled. (Editor's Note: At least the intelligence you received didn't cause you to start a war.)
Upon our triumphant—albeit grumpy—return, we were informed that Shy Love was actually in the offices here in Beverly Hills. As Shy later informed us, filming had wrapped for the shoot last Friday. We love her candor when it comes to the industry, so we took the opportunity to ask her about the production.
We was looking at the shooting schedule for the production and it's definitely going to be part of Hustler Video's ® new "HardLine" series. Do you usually prefer the harder stuff?
It's not that I prefer [it]. I like everything. I think after a while when you're working in this business, you get a little more rough around the edges and start to like the harder stuff.
Makes sense.
It is an extreme cast list. But it [is] a hardcore movie and I expected hardcore things. I wanted the best of the best.
Do you think you got it?
I got it. I definitely got the best of the best.
Do you have any difficulties being a woman director in the industry?
At first, people don't respect you because they think you're going to be a lot more lenient than male directors. I've been doing it for a while now, so they know I don't play the games on set. Usually, it's easier for me because I perform. The girls are usually willing to go the extra notch and give me more. They know that if I see something look wrong of they could get hurt, I'm going to call it off.
Which to you prefer, directing or performing?
I like both equally. Performing allows me to show my nasty, dirty side up close and personal. Directing allows you to see the things I wish that I could do, but I don't have it…
What do you mean you don't "have it"?
For instance, there's Sandra Romain, who's an absolute phenomenal, phenomenal performer and I have her doing a double anal. [Something] I think is extreme and hardcore, but she loves it. You can see it in her face and it doesn't bother her. She's strong and outgoing. I could never do that. It fascinates me and I like it.
Did you perform in this as well?
No.
Did you want to once the cameras started rolling?
I did, I did. But I was like, "You know what I'm going to stay on the back end and not do it." It might perform on the second title.
Are you looking forward to the finished product?
I can't wait to see the finished product. I think it's going to come out extremely well. I had a great list of female performers and male performers. There couldn't have been a [cast] than that. I have no date when it's coming out, but I can't wait.
Any else you want say about your experience with the filming?
If you haven't seen any of these girls perform, this is probably the best time to get a movie.
Who were the girls performing?
Sandra Romain, Missy Monroe, Cindy Crawford, Nadia Styles and Annie Cruz. You're going to get a list of girls who are not only beautiful, but aggressive, strong performers that love what they do and you can see it. They just draw you to the camera.
MTV's hit show "NEXT" is about to take speed dating to a whole new level. Upcoming episodes will feature adult film performers and exclusive LA Direct Models Cindy Crawford and Cassie Young on the popular 30 minute program.
Cindy Crawford was initially tentative about her audition is excited about appearing on the show and said, "When I first walked into MTV studios, I wasn't very optimistic that I was going to get the spot, but the casting agent let me be myself, made me feel right at home and comfortable with the fact that I was going on the show as an adult film star who is secure with who I am and what I do. I am really looking forward to filming my segment and seeing who NEXT is and who ultimately is the one who wins a second date with me."
Cassie Young's first appearance for a mainstream television show has the quintessential cutie a little nervous but ready for anything. "I am all about hot chicks and NEXT has selected five girls that will have to do their best to impress me," says Young. "I am hoping to score the hottest chick out of the bunch to take on a date. The sequel to America's Most Important Movie®, VCA Pictures presents "Joanna's Angels 2: Alt Throttle" which will premiere on Tuesday, April 18th at Happey Valley located at 14 East 27th Street in New York City. In Joanna's Angels 2, ALT Throttle, Mr.Marcus plays the America's first black president. His daughter, played by Dana Dearmond, gets kidnapped by a preppy blond, (played by Charlotte Stokely), who threatens to keep the girl unless everything ALT is outlawed. As part of her torture, she is forced to listen to the same pop song over and over, with subliminal messages about conformity. President Marcus hires Joanna and her Angels to rescue his daughter, and save everything alternative in the country.
"The movie is a satire of everything; from politics, to heartbreak, to alternative culture... The cast of girls are all really hot. Not only are they really different looking from the average cast of porn girls, everyone is really unique in the movie and looks really different from one another. The sex is really dirty, but it's still a cute chick flick with a funny plot," says Joanna Angel. The entire film was shot right around the corner from the BurningAngel offices, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

It's a night to get your laugh on and your wallet out when the ladies of Trashmouth Production's "The Naughty Show" join comedian George Lopez on Saturday, April 22nd for a sold out benefit performance for the Laurence School at the Roosevelt Hotel.
Trashmouth producer, Skye Blue and her girlfriends in trash humor are excited to lend a few laughs to promote this worthy cause. "'The Naughty Show' is a venue for women to get down and dirty with explicit stand-up. It's empowering that George has asked us to be a part of his charity show, it gives legitimacy to what we're doing," acknowledges Blue.
And what they're doing is bringing a completely new feel to comedy clubs and cable by featuring some of the nation's top female comedians doing their bawdiest, edgiest, lewdest material. "The Naughty Show" provocatively goes into territory usually reserved for the guys.
Kate Rigg, who along with Blue created the idea of "The Naughty Show", sees this as an opportunity to add a touch of women's empowerment to the event, "We are raising funds for the school's capital campaign and will be bringing our own brand of sass to the Laurence School's high profile charity event. We caught up with the perpertually busy fan of metaphors, Ron Royster. During our time together, we spoke of his penchant for quest directors, using MySpace to create a soundtrack and his distaste for traffic in Los Angeles.
You mentioned before that you use a guest director for all of your features, who was it this time?
When I went to the production offices at Hustler, I had a bunch of pictures that had the "look" I wanted. It turned out that most of them were shot by Octavio [Arizala]. I called him up and was like, "You're working on this film and you're the guest director." He was like, "Awesome! Who are you?"
You mentioned that this is the first feature to license music from bands on MySpace.
Yeah, I just went through for the site for 10 hours picking our music I liked that would work for the movie.
Any problems getting bands on board?
Some bands were excited and were like "You work for HUSTLER!" and others weren't and they were like, "You work for HUSTLER."
How do you like the movie-making process?
We're doing the best we can. We're making art. It's infinitely harder to make art than porn.
Are you happy that Atomic Vixens is finally coming out?
Yeah man, it's kind of like giving birth.
Are you proud of your child?
Of course I'm proud. It was the time in my adult career that I've ever had an all-star team of people around me. It's hard for me to take a lot of credit on the movie because so many people did so much hard work on it.
Like who?
Octavio. He definitely had his hand in it. Now he's launched his career, so that's cool. I got his directing cherry. Just everybody, man. The makeup artist was phenomenal, the lady who did the clothing was phenomenal, the editing was great. The story board was really good. I even got my sister to do the English accent for the voice-over.
Awesome.
It's kind of like making soup. The potatoes can't take all the credit for the great vegetable soup.
I hear that you're leaving us soon.
I'm looking forward to getting out of here.
What don't you like about LA?
Life is so precious and every minute you're stuck in a traffic jam or at a stop light, you're watching the sands of life drain from the meter. It's like some kind of video game or something. I don't want to be found in my car, slumped over the wheel on the 101 or something.
So you're off to Prague.
Everything's just bit a little bit up in the air. Did you ever see the "I Love Lucy" episode where the chocolates are coming off of the conveyor belt? It's like, "she's doing a great job, lets speed up the process" Finally the chocolates are coming off the conveyor belt faster than she can do anything with them.
It sounds like you're a busy man. Better than sitting around not doing anything, no?
If you ever saw what my life was like back in North Carolina, you'd understand. I live on 158 acres. I spent a long time getting accustomed to hanging out on my porch and then I was ripped away from my home and then I'm out in the world actually having to make a living.

We've always been a fan of former President Bill Clinton. His comments during a recent meeting of InterAction, an alliance of humanitarian organizations, only make us like him more.
When we first met Justine Joli, we were on the set of first-time director Cat Purcel's "Alpha 15: Big Sister and the Trial of Emily Labore". While porceline-skinned redheads usually aren't our thing—it has something to do with Moses and the whole idea of the burning bush—we couldn't help becoming smitten with this Missouri native.
What struck us about this copper-haired beauty wasn't the amazing scene she filmed that day, but how incredibly articulate she was when we sat down for a little chat. She knew just what she wanted to say and just how to say it. We really hate to admit this, but we had a hard time keeping up.
Justine was nice enough to give us a call the other day so we could continue our conversation. She let us grill her about her start in the business, her cool-as-ice mom and her ever-growing role in the "Alt Porn" universe.
When we last spoke, you said you were kind of shy when you were younger.
I was incredibly shy. Painfully, retardedly. You've seen those geeks that do nothing but sit at home, surf porn, watch Star Trek and live in their mom's basement, right? That would have been me had I never went to New Zealand.
What happened in New Zealand?
It's legal to drink in New Zealand at 18. I was 19 when I went down there, they had just lowered the drinking age. I really, really, really wanted to go out to nightclubs, because I had never been to one. I begged my mom to go with me. She was like, "I love you, go party, be a teenager, get the fuck out of my hair". I had to learn people skills pretty quick, because people look at you funny when you don't know how to talk.
How did that translate to breaking out of your shell back here in the States?
I had to go so many places alone and talk to people. I made random friends. People invited me into their homes. That gave me future people skills so that I could actually talk to people. I was terrified of talking to people. Getting up in front of a crowd? Never in a million years.
It sounds like when you came back, you were almost a different person.
I got a chance to get out there and meet people my age and rap with people my age. It's not really something I did before I left because I was working a lot.
How did you go from there to making the move into the adult entertainment industry?
A producer and his girlfriend, they actually used to work for HUSTLER. I was working in the Glendale Galleria. I'm on my way to the bathroom and this guy stops me and gives me his card and he's like, "You're not from around here are you?"
I go over to his house. My mom drove me. My mom [and I] are sitting on the couch and we're looking at this large print. They were close up shots, like I could tell what you had for lunch. And my mom and I are looking at these going, "What the fuck is this?" I finally figured it out and I'm like, "OK, I don't want to talk about it. Let's not look at the fucking picture. Let's not talk about it. It's not there." He comes out. He explains how he can help me. I go into the back. He takes some naked photos of me, sends them off to an agent. The agent picks me up and started getting work me from there. And that's how I actually [started]. I literally met this guy on Thursday, was at his house on Saturday, I had my first porn job on Monday.
Was your mom aware of this the entire time?
Oh yeah, yeah. For the first six months she drove me to all my jobs because I was terrified to drive there. She wasn't happy about it at first. Then she saw my bank account and then she's like ,"Are you happy?" Yes. "Are you hurting yourself?" No. "Alright".
It seems like all of the "Alt" directors are big fans of yours. Why do you think that is?
Eon [MacKai] is actually good friends with [my boyfriend] DCypher, and that's how [he] met me. He called me for "Kill, Girl, Kill" or "Kill, Girl, Kill 2" and was like "My last girl/girl was poo. I just didn't like it. I called DCypher and I wanted to find out who the best girl/girl was and he recommended you." He got nominated for the scene I did for him for "Kill, Girl, Kill" and he also got nominated for the orgy scene I did with everyone else in Neu Wave Hookers. I think [they] like the way I do things.
Is there anything you want to say to your fans?
I love my fans, every single one of them. I wouldn't have a job if it weren't for them.

Fucking. Fucking this and fucking that. It's not my only favorite cussword, though. Tosser, bloody ingrate. Bloody. If I'm trying to be kind of proper and I don't want to say fuck a whole lot, I'll just say, "you bloody bastard." Oh "bastard", that's another one of my favorites. I cuss a lot. I've got a mouth like a sailor.
What sound or noise do you love?
When a man moans. There are very few man that do it and when they do it's just the sexiest thing ever.
What sound or noise do you hate?
The popping of a balloon. It kind of freaks me out.
What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt?
I've already attempted make-up artistry, so now I'm looking into photography.
What profession would you not like to do?
A pooper scooper. I hate having to change my cat's [litter] box and all I have to do is put it in a fucking trash bag and throw it away.

Brian, the wise cracking, cocktail swilling dog from Fox's hit show Family Guy, has more on his mind than your average family mutt. Over the years, Brian's been a porn director, a drug-sniffing narcotics officer with a cocaine problem and the faithful foil to Rhode Island's most famous dysfunctional family. Now America's hottest canine is starring in his first movie, Family Guy Presents Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story.
HUSTLER's Tom Farrell caught up with Brian (and his human alter-ego Seth MacFarlane) between fire hydrants and mailmen to discuss Stewie, George Bush and what he really did with Jenna Jameson.
HUSTLER: So, how about that Stewie movie, eh?
BRIAN: "Stewie movie?" Please, that kid's got a big enough head already, literally and figuratively. He doesn't need you calling it the "Stewie Movie". I saw some footage the other day and it's hilarious and very dirty.
In the film, your role in the future seems rather diminished.
I don't want to give anything away, but I die in mid-coitus with a throw pillow.
What was it like directing porn?
A lot like directing an Ashton Kutcher movie—bad acting, no plot and you feel dirty when it's over.
Will you ever go back to directing XXX?
Well, if the right script came along, and it was something I was passionate about and there was an Asian chick involved, maybe.
What was it like to work with Jenna Jameson? Did you or didn't you?
Jenna's amazing. She's great at getting plowed, but, and a lot of people don't know this, she's equally adept at putting on a strap-on and plowing someone else. And, no, I never "hit that." But, I do know a guy who did, and he said it was out of this world. Like playing chess with Gary Kasparov.
What do you think of Bush?
I think it's nice if it's tidy, like a neat little landing strip. Oh, you mean the President? He's a douche bag.

HustlerWorld's got a rough life. Not only are we made to watch hours and hours and hours of hardcore porn on a daily basis, but we're forced to be around women like Tera Patrick. We ran into FHM's 57th sexiest woman for 2006 the other week on the set of her choose your own adventure-style feature, tentatively titled "inTERActive".
To say that this woman is good at what she does is like saying Tiger Woods is decent at golf or George W. Bush is only marginally stupid. Watching her work was a truly unique experience. During still photographs, the effortless posing she demonstrated is a skill only a seasoned performer could have. It probably helps when every side is your good side. During the movie's filming, we were struck by how easily she both recalled and delivered her lines. For the first time in our illustrious career, we weren't bored to tears by watching dialogue. Hell, she could have been reading a phone book and we would have enjoyed it.
A tight shooting schedule kept us from chatting at any length that day, but Tera was nice enough to answer some questions via E-mail.
You recently landed yourself at the #57 spot of FHM's 100 Sexiest for 2006. How does it feel to be ranked higher than Natalie Portman (or, as we like to call her, "Luke's mom")?
I'm glad I "beat her" and I'm glad I'm next to my favorite girl, Alessandra Ambrisio.
You and fellow co-hort Jenna Jameson both made strong showings on FHM's List this year. Do you think this is just further evidence that porn is slowly becoming less taboo in our culture?
Yes. Jenna and I are bringing the path to mainstream from adult. Yeah for that.

Let's talk about "inTERActive". Everyone I've spoken with about the project is really excited for the finished project. What makes this movie so special?
This is the first interactive with a story line and it gives the viewers the ultimate Tera Patrick experience.
Rumor has is that this project has been in the works for quite some time. What's taking so long?
We want[ed] to make sure we were producing the best interactive possible. It's a very complex project and it took a lot of people to make this product.
Are you excited to see the finished product? Do you watch your own movies?
Yes, I'm excited to see final product. Sometimes I watch my movies and sometimes I have to review them and I get excited watching them all over again.

When we received a copy of Margie Schnibbe's "Porn Star Pets" we threw it in the soon-to-have-its-own-gravitational-pull pile of porn sitting in our office. Dismissing it as nothing more than a stroke flick with an awful name, we doomed the movie to commingle with the likes of "5 Guy Cream Pie" and "Cheerleaders Crave Cock".
For some reason—call it kismet—the movie finally made its way into our DVD player and we quickly realized that it wasn't porn at all. It was actually a documentary about adult stars and their pets.
Released in 2005 by Brink Films, "Porn Star Pets" is a refreshing look at the private lives of some of the industry's most notable pornstars. Instead of the traditional behind-the-scenes included with many of today's porn releases, we're given an honest glimpse into a relationship that can be more powerful and meaningful than one between two humans. According to a recent study by the American Animal Hospital Association, "More than half of all pet owners stated they would want their pet instead of another person with them if they were stranded on a desert island."
You may find it hard to believe, but porn stars are no different.
We don't want to spoil the movie for those who have yet to see it, so we'll offer some highlights:
Buddy, one of Taylor Wayne's dogs, lives on shrimp. "Curried shrimp, Cajun shrimp," she says, channeling Bubba, "anything spicy."
Lena Ramon names all 37 of her pets without missing a beat.
Melissa Monet's dog has an unfortunate allergy to grass.
Mr. Marcus talks about his little 10 pounder, "This dog's got more shit than me."
Throughout the film, interviews with industry heavies like Ron Jeremy, Taylor Wayne, Bill Margold and Mr. Marcus do an exceptional job demonstrating the unconditional bond between (wo)man and beast. Shot by John Gulagar (of Bravo's Project Greenlight fame) the film's already brief running time—52 minutes—seems even shorter due to the great pacing. Thankfully, the DVD includes tons of bonus footage, a photo slide show and even a commentary track by Mr. Jeremy and his roommate Natalie.

The highly anticipated "Britney Rears 2" movie sequel underwent a last second make-over before being sent to stores nationwide for this week's release when an emergency decision was made to remove a graphic shot of her naked breasts from the front box cover.
The follow-up to last year's extremely popular mega-selling "Britney Rears" DVD was all set for shipping when the decision was made to switch to a box cover artwork design that didn't bare all of the beautifully famous naked Britney breasts on the front cover.
"We had 'Britney Rears 2' all ready to go with a box cover that showed the world famous Britney tits posing with nothing but a collection of press conference microphones, but a few very important retail outlets voiced concern that they wanted to make huge 'Britney' orders, but couldn't display naked breasts in their stores in a number of cities. Since most buyers felt this would be their biggest selling DVD for the next couple of months, we went with another great design that we had waiting in the wings," stated Jeff Mullen co-producer of the movie which comes out from X-Play/Hustler Video this week.

There are very few women in adult entertainment that make us as nervous as Angie Savage. It's not that we think she's going to ruin our credit (college already did that) or steal our stuff when we're not looking. No, these nerves are more of the Charlie Brown/Little Redheaded Girl variety. And, believe it or not, her looks (even though she's drop-dead gorgeous) aren't the reason we get tongue-tied. Awww…thanks. It's a nice feeling. It's like I'm the face of Hustler at these trade shows.
How'd you ever get mixed up with us?
About a year and a half ago, [Devon and I] sent in some bad polaroids to HUSTLER. Angel De Fina [HUSTLER's talent coordinator] had us in her office and a week later we were doing our first boy/girl shoot.
It must be nice having Devon around.
It is. This business can be a little rough and it's nice to have someone on your side.
Are you excited to work with Crissy for this month's HustlerLive?
Yeah, I took a look at her pictures and she's a hottie. I'm excited to meet her.
Do you have anything else you want to say?

You may not know the name Octavio C. Arizala, but you've most likely seen his work. He's been lucky enough to be the lensman for adult legend Tera Patrick, fetish queen Masuimi Max and countless other drool-worthy babes (both of the adult and non-adult variety).
Picking up a camera only 4 years ago, Octavio seems to be everywhere these days. January saw the publication of his first book, Modern Vixens: World of WinkyTiki. This month, he makes his first credited appeareance as a guest director in an adult film, Atomic Vixens: Escape From the Valley of the Sluts. And, if that wasn't enough to put him on your adult entertainment radar, he just finished filming his first movie for Vivid, "The Rebel Rousers".
When we got Octavio on the phone the other week, we discussed everything from the origins of the WinkyTiki aesthetic, shooting porn and Masuimi Max's first appearance in an adult feature.

You have a definitive aesthetic—the pin-up girl—where did this come from? When did you start getting intetested in the look?
When I started doing photography, how I got into the whole pin-up thing is that it was pretty much what was around me. I've always been into the whole rockabilly scene, car culture, swing dancing and the bands. So when I started getting into photography, the only girls I knew were rockabilly girls.
How long ago did you get into photography?
4 years.
So you're relatively new…
Oh yeah. I'm a newbie. I was in the music business for 12 years as a recording engineer. I was working with Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones. I was just in a recording studio. You have no life. As a therapy, I picked up an old Pentax camera that I had since high school and starting learning photography. I went to all the car shows and I'd bump into all my friends who were the rockabilly girls who owned the hotrods. So I would do photos of them, just learning how to use the camera. Next thing you know, they liked them so they'd say, "I have this new outfit, why don't you come over and take pictures of me in [it]." The rest is history.
So all of this culminated in your book of pin-ups, WinkyTiki…
Also, how I got into it, in terms of the aesthetic, is that growing up my dad had a really big collection of those bachelor pad records and Italian movie soundtracks and lots of weird stuff. Back in the day, the album covers didn't have anything to do with the music itself. But they were mostly pinups or some weird interesting photos. That's when I became a young-horn dog.
How did this translate into the adult industry? It seems like that's where you're focused now…
Even before I picked up a camera, I always loved porn and the adult industry. From day one, the moment I picked up a camera, I said, "One day, I want to work in the adult business." That was my main focus. My main goal was [shooting] for HUSTLER… Four years later, I'm shooting for them.
That rules.
I've always had a one-track mind, which I think helped me out. I didn't get distracted by other things like landscapes. Put me in front of a fucking a tree I would not have a clue how to photograph it. But, I can convince the Virgin Mary to pose for a centerfold. That's just the way it workd out.
I was the production designer, I co-produced and directed some of it for VCA.
Is this your first adult movie?
Unofficially, I directed a lot of scenes. But this one is the first one where I get full credit.
And this translated into directing for Vivid.
I just finished a movie called "The Rebel Rousers". Over time, with a lot of promotion and me working in the adult business and my website Winkytiki [taking] off and since I shot a lot of adult models in the pin-up style, I caught the eye of a lot of people in the adult business.
How did your experience go? It was the first one you were "the man" for.
Regardless of who you work for, it's the same thing over and over again in a different package. One cool thing about working for the bigger companies like Vivid of VCA is that once you give the company a basic idea of what the hell you're doing, you pretty much have a carte-blanche to just do whatever.
A little birdie told us that it was Masuimi Max's first adult shoot.
Yeah, she's in the movie and that's all I can tell you about that.
Are people going to be happy when they see her?
It all depends. Masuimi Max is very big in the whole fetish subculture. She's a great performer, a burlesque dancer. And she's somewhat impossible to book. She handles her own business, she's very selective and she makes some very radical business decisions. When they idea for "Rebel Rousers" came up, she was down and she came onboard.
So who else did you get to work with in Rebel Rousers?
I had Kimberly Kane, Lexis Bardot, Nadia Styles, Page Morgan, Dragon Lily and Smoking Mary Jane…
Were they all previously into your particular style, is that why you chose them?
Yeah. Exactly, When I was given the project, I had two sets of responsibilities. A) as a director and photographer and B) someone who was going to represent a certain subculture. A big mistake a lot of adult and mainstream companies do is when they try to do something that fits a certain market. They just can't pull it off because they don't cast correctly or [you] can tell the girls are just dressed up.
It's just makeup and wardrobe and they're not into the lifestyle.
You can put a vintage dress on anybody. You can put a vintage dress on a monkey and it's still going to be a monkey. Since I've been shooting for a few years and shooting a lot of models, I had a list in my head of girls who I clicked with or showed some interest.
Is there anything else you want to say?
Who would have known that in a little over 3 years I'd be directing for Vivid and I have a book out with people waiting on line outside to get a copy? It's kind of amazing.
Britney Rears' new theme song has been stuck in our head since we heard it.

HUSTLER: On Taradise, you and Paris Hilton partied on a yacht. What's it like partying with Paris?
Tara Reid: It's really no different than partying with anyone else. I'm sure you have a good friend that you party with, maybe not as famous. But to me she's the same girl that I've known since I was 14. We both knew each other when neither one of us were famous. Then we both got famous. Sometimes we'll look at each other and get a kick out of how our lives turned out and what we did. We'll say, "Wow, we did it! People are actually chasing us!"
The paparazzi weren't very kind after that now-infamous red carpet disaster where you were photographed with your one breast exposed.
That was different! That sucked! But how could they not take the picture? Know what I mean? I wish they had said, "No, we won't show it." But I'm sure someone made a million dollars from that picture.
Why would the media target you?
Think about it. Did Paris Hilton do porn videos? Nicole Richie did heroin and now they're great! Nicole has done some really bad things that I won't even go into it and look at them. They get nicely dressed again and everyone is nice to them. But what about me? What did I do wrong? I never did anything! I partied! I danced on a table. So that makes me a bad person? I don't get it. Our society is so messed up. What am I supposed to do, sit in my house and not go out, not do anything? That's not going to help me get a job either. I've just got to live my life. If I sit home and do nothing, I'll be depressed and it's going to be sad.
What is the biggest misconception about you?
I work really hard! I don't just party! I work with charities and I'm a huge family girl. I'm with my family every Sunday. I just bought my parents a house on the beach just three houses from mine. I'm sensitive and I care what people write about me. I don't like that they make me look like an idiot. I'm not an idiot! I'm smart. I'm a lot smarter than people realize. I've been doing this my whole life. I've been acting forever. I'm good at it. I just want to act again. I'm more than they're letting be. I need a chance. If I get that chance, people will see.

When our friends at Black and Blue Media told us about an upcoming Platinum Blue Productions shoot, we were excited to say the least. A relatively new company, Platinum Blue already has the adult industry taking notice. Building on the momentum of their 3 AVN award nominations in 2006, the production Lust in Time aims to solidify the company's standing in the adult world.
Shot in HD and filmed in Bel Aire, Lust in Time weaves together tales of people separated by loss and are now reunited by the energies that focus on one location, Hanson Manor.
As is our habit when attending shoots, we got lost on the way. "If the Fresh Prince can find Bel Aire", we grumbled to ourself, "than so can we." Thankfully, our trusty Thomas Guide was close at hand and within minutes we were walking through the kitchen of yet another gorgeous home that we could only afford if we marry into money.
One of the first people we encountered during our visit that day was the picture's director, Skye Blue. Wearing a jacket emblazoned with her company's logo (as it should be), she informed us, "The movies I've shot lately are on a shoestring budget. I stepped it up a notch and we're definitely shooting a feature."
Not only is Skye one of the most confident and assured director's we've seen work--she knows just how hard, how fast, and for how long she wants it--but the talent could offer nothing but praise. Often times, the qualities that make directors like Skye excel are the same qualities that cause grumbling from the cast and crew.
But complaints were few and far between that day. "I love Skye," gushed Cassie Cortland, "I love that she's a female director. I like to see her ideas and [her] views."
The mood on set was professional, but Ms. Blue kept the atmosphere jovial, keeping everyone happy and focused on making the best picture possible.
If the scene we witnessed between Brittaney Starr and Marco is any indication of the quality that this production aspires to, viewers will be in for a treat come June--the picture's tentative release date. The chemistry between these two was evident when Brittaney cutely whined, "No..." when Skye asked Marco to put his underwear back on so they could shoot some softcore footage. The director led the two temporary lovers through their paces, having them in positions that would seemingly defy the laws of physics (Editor's Note: We never liked Newton's theories anyway). Over an hour later, the action culminated in a crescendo of moaning, thrusting, sweating and panting. The only way a great scene should end.
Unfortunately, familial obligations kept us from watching the scene between Tiffany Taylor and Van Dammage filmed later on that day. But, if their scene was remotely close to Brittaney and Marco's, we'll be impatiently waiting for the film to hit shelves.

HustlerWorld is always wary of attending shoots during the weekend--we like sleeping and The McLaughlin Group--but we're happy we made it out to the set that day. Pushing the clocks ahead may have initially thrown us off of our game, but nothing clears the cobwebs like a strong cup of coffee and the promise of watching one of our favorite porn stars get it on. We can honestly say that the scene between Daisy and Barry Scott was one of the hottest we have witnessed since we've been covering the skin-flick business.
Daisy, clad in bright blue boy shorts and revealing pink top reading "Hottie", was all too eager to get straight down to business. "I'm ready to fuck" she said in her sexy Latina accent, right before the cameras began rolling. "Maybe you can kiss a little bit," Vena offered.
Early on during the filming of her scene, Daisy joined the ever-popular pantheon of female ejaculators. "Not too many people can make me do that," she exasperatedly said to Barry during a break in the filming. She then went on to do just "that" 10 or 11 times throughout the scene. Mr. Scott, ever the Southern gentleman, could only offer a modest smile that seemed to say, "I made that happen."
We thought we had too much by the third or fourth time Daisy let go a torrent of her juices, but then she did something we should have expected, but didn't: She started speaking in Spanish. She could have been screaming, "I voted for George Bush and regularly read Anne Coulter", but it didn't matter. Nothing's hotter than a drop-dead gorgeous Latina cooing in her native tongue while on the recieving end of a stud who knows what he's doing. Jesus Christo!
When asked to comment on her performance afterwards, Daisy said, "My pussy's sore".

When we met Hillary Scott on the set of the tentatively titled "inTERActive", we initially thought that this cute blonde had wandered into the wrong house on her way home from school. One of the first people we encountered during our visit that day was the picture's director, Skye Blue. The director led the two temporary lovers through their paces, having them in positions that would seemingly defy the laws of physics (Editor's Note: We never liked Newton's theories anyway). Over an hour later, the action culminated in a crescendo of moaning, thrusting, sweating and panting. The only way a great scene should end.
HustlerWorld is always wary of attending shoots during the weekend--we like sleeping and The McLaughlin Group--but we're happy we made it out to the set that day. Pushing the clocks ahead may have initially thrown us off of our game, but nothing clears the cobwebs like a strong cup of coffee and the promise of watching one of our favorite porn stars get it on. We can honestly say that the scene between Daisy and Barry Scott was one of the hottest we have witnessed since we've been covering the skin-flick business.
We thought we had too much by the third or fourth time Daisy let go a torrent of her juices, but then she did something we should have expected, but didn't: She started speaking in Spanish. She could have been screaming, "I voted for George Bush and regularly read Anne Coulter", but it didn't matter.
