(West Hollywood, CA) Hustler Hollywood, the retail division of Larry Flynt Publications (LFP, Inc.), is pleased to announce the induction of performer Christy Canyon and director Paul Thomas into the Hustler Hollywood Walk of Fame on Sunset Boulevard.

Both Canyon and Thomas are industry veterans with hundreds of films to their credit. The ceremony will take place on Thursday, July 26, at 9 p.m..

In addition to Canyon and Thomas, Hustler founder Larry Flynt will be in attendance, along with the Hustler Honeys and other special guests.

The Walk of Fame was opened in 1998 in front of the Hustler Hollywood store to serve as a lasting tribute to the legends of the porn industry. It currently includes the handprints and signatures of Larry Flynt, Jenna Jameson, Ron Jeremy and many others.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - LFP has released Mercedez Takes Control, the second title from ex-Vivid Girl Nina Mercedez' production company Heartbreaker Films.

Mercedez collaborated with on- and offscreen partner Raymond Balboa on the story-driven feature about a hit woman who wants to get out of the business.

"This is the first feature title that we shot and it was a lot of work, but I am so glad we did it," said Mercedez. "Shooting all-sex vignettes will always be my first love. But after doing this movie, I have a better appreciation for my experiences working with Vivid director, Paul Thomas. All of those years working with him really helped me in directing some of the acting and dialogue scenes."

Alongside Mercedez and Balboa, Mercedez Takes Control stars Gianna Lynn, Puma Swede, Christina Agucci, Melissa Lauren, Anthony Hardwood and Ben English.

"I am very happy with it and I think it came out great, we had to do some heavy editing due to LFP's standards; some of the death sequences had to be dropped, but I will be releasing the 'Directors Cut' on VOD, cable and also for hotels," said Mercedez.

"We put a lot of hard work and passion into the entire project. I'm a lot happier in my career and in my life and I think that it really shows in my movies."

HeartBreaker Films debuted in March with Latina Anal HeartBreakers. The company recently wrapped its third movie, Thrust, for a projected fall release.

"We have taken even more control with Thrust as Raymond Balboa performs, directs, edits and designed the box cover," said Mercedez. "This movie has more of a glamour, vintage rock and roll feel to it. Thrust is like nothing we have ever done before, and we are looking forward to the release."

Mercedez is the co-owner of HeartBreaker Films and a former Vivid contract girl. She has been featured in over 30 Vivid titles and has also starred in Virtual Sex with Mercedez. She was crowned Miss Nude Universe, Miss Nude North America, Miss Nude International and winner of the coveted Golden-G-String Award.

(Beverly Hills, CA) Michael H. Klein, the current head of LFP Broadcasting, Internet and Video, has been promoted to President of LFP, Inc.

"Michael Klein has been with LFP for over three years, and there is very little that is new to him," says Hustler founder Larry Flynt. "I decided to go with Michael because he is the best person for the job. I know he will excel in this position."

Klein will continue to run the Broadcast, Internet and Video divisions, which includes Hustler TV, numerous Web sites, such as Hustler.com and BarelyLegal.com, Hustler Mobile and the production/distribution of Hustler and VCA DVDs.

In his new position as LFP President, Klein will also oversee the day-to-day activities for all of LFP. "My goal is to continue building LFP, Inc. and to strengthen our leadership position in the adult-entertainment industry," says Klein. "I believe in what this company can do and the continual growing popularity of the Hustler brand worldwide and am energized about this new position."

Klein previously headed up programming at TVN Entertainment and iN Demand, both leading video-on-demand providers.

Barely Legal, the celebrated HUSTLER series, is making history with the production of Barely Legal Troublemakers. Legendary director Henri Pachard is set to direct the distinctive title this weekend.

Pachard, an AVN Hall of Fame writer/director, has penned a vignette piece about college girls with a penchant for hell-raising. The director, who recently battled cancer, is ready to get back behind the camera after a long hiatus. "After getting past the cancer and four surgeries," says Pachard, "bring those adorable brats on!"

"Henri is the best of the best," says Drew Rosenfeld, Creative Director, HUSTLER Video Group. "His script and ideas for Troublemakers are amazing, and we can't wait to see the finished product."

While Pachard kept busy helping other directors during his recovery, it is working on his own projects that brings him the most pleasure. "I pitched Troublemakers to Drew Rosenfeld, and he liked my idea enough to work it into the Barely Legal lineup," says Pachard. "I haven't been this excited about shooting since the early '90s, when I was directing films in 35 millimeter. And having my son, Ralph Parfait, shooting camera for me really puts the icing on the cake."

Barely Legal Troublemakers stars Lexi Belle, Sarah Fay, Kayden Faye, Christine Alexis and Andi Anderson.
